NUTRITIONIST
FUNCTIONAL AND ORTHOMOLECULAR NUTRITION
I am a nutritionist, graduated from the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences at the University of Porto.
I have always believed in our body’s ability to heal and regenerate, as long as it is given the “tools” to do so. I believe that each person is unique and knowing their medical history is fundamental to helping improve their state of health. As such, from an early age I began to find out more about the origins and causes of people’s health problems. Functional and Orthomolecular Nutrition thus emerged as one of my passions and working tools. My clinical practice is based on an integrative, individualized approach that respects the patient’s free and informed decision-making.
My interest in women’s health came about as a result of my life journey. I consider it valuable to intervene in the various stages of life, such as preconception, pregnancy, postpartum and the first years of a baby’s life. All our actions can have an impact on a woman’s health, but also on the conception and development of the baby. It is a great challenge and a pleasure to help women with specific female health conditions, such as endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, among others.
At UTERUS I have found a specialized, humane multidisciplinary team that shares the same ideologies that I defend, offering differentiated support in women’s health.
