OSTEOPATH
Specialization in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Paediatric Osteopathy

Having always been passionate about health and well-being, it was during my degree in Sports Science (in Turin) that I realized I had a great interest in the human body, which is why I decided to go to the UK and study Osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy in London. The global and holistic vision that characterizes Osteopathy was a key element in my decision.

My interest in obstetrics began during my clinical internship, where I had the opportunity to work in the department dedicated to pregnant patients. It was a unique experience that shaped my future choices. So, in my final year, I decided to specialize in Obstetric and Gynaecological Osteopathy, and I got to meet mothers-to-be again. During this period, I also took part in a Visceral and Structural Technique Course for the Treatment of the Pelvis and obtained a specialization in Visceral Osteopathy (VM1, Barral Institute).

My interest in pediatric osteopathy came as a logical consequence: somehow, I knew that taking care of the mother was a way of also taking care of the baby. But I wondered if there was anything else I could do for babies once they were born. It was in search of this answer that I decided to invest in a 2-year training course in Pediatric Osteopathy (SOMA, Milan).

The knowledge and tools I acquired were fundamental to my practice, but a team was missing. That’s how, after working in London and Spain, I found in Porto, and at UTERUS, a unique space where I can do what I love most.
