Physical activity in pregnancy is a safe and healthy practice, with proven benefits for both mother and baby.
Pilates is a great way to exercise the body during pregnancy, promoting not only the overall health of the pregnant woman, but also a good positioning of her baby.
Pilates sessions at UTERUS can take place in groups or individually.
They stand out for being led by specialized Physiotherapists, who adapt the original exercises and movements of the method to each pregnant person’s condition.
Among the main benefits of this method during pregnancy we highlight:
- increased body awareness
- the decrease in episodes of discomfort or pain
- a greater awareness of the location, function, and control of the pelvic floor
- the discovery of breathing as an ally to communicate with your body
- greater coordination, selectivity, and fluidity of movements
- stimulation of blood circulation
